What can Phoney call about?
Right now Phoney can book restaurant reservations, schedule doctor appointments, and make wellness appointments (haircuts, massages, spa services, and similar). More task types are coming soon.
Does the business know they're talking to an AI?
Phoney places calls on your behalf as your agent. You are solely responsible for any disclosures required by the laws of your jurisdiction. Some states and countries require callers to disclose when a conversation is AI-generated or automated. Phoney does not make any such disclosures on your behalf, and we are not liable for any failure to disclose. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable laws before placing a call through Phoney. See our Terms of Service for full details.
What if the call fails or the business doesn't pick up?
Phoney will retry automatically based on your plan. You'll receive a notification when your call is placed and when we have a final result.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the App Store on your iPhone → tap your profile photo → Subscriptions → Phoney → Cancel Subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
Where is my data stored?
Call transcripts and task details are stored securely on servers in the United States. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
